The COIL programme coordinated by the Institute for Gendered Innovations is collaboratively conducted by Ochanomizu University, Nara Women’s University and the Center for Gender Research at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Introduction

The COIL programme coordinated by the Institute for Gendered Innovations is collaboratively conducted by Ochanomizu University, Nara Women’s University and the Center for Gender Research at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In the programme, Ochanomizu students can learn about Gendered Innovations and Intersectional Design in an international collaborative setting and the workshop using Intersectional Design Cards. We are looking forward to your participation in the programme. The outline of the programme and how to apply for it are as follows.

Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a new online education method that allows faculty and students to be connected globally with institutions abroad while being on their home campuses. Expected learning outcomes are communication proficiency in English, cross-cultural understanding, problem-solving ability and IT skills, through the exchange with students and professors with different cultural backgrounds.

【Requirement】 Being interested in COIL and the theme of the programme. Having sufficient English communication skills for coursework (Communication skills will be checked by holding an interview) (English learning support will be provided).
